Published by Alien Libros in 2026, this 154-page volume documents the paintings and sculptures created by Alfonso Gonzalez Jr. for his 2025 solo exhibition at Matthew Brown Gallery in Los Angeles. Accompanied by a selection of reference photographs that informed the development of the work, the publication offers insight into the people, places, and experiences that shaped the exhibition. Essays by friends, colleagues, and collaborators—including Carlos Agredano, Jennifer Venegas Rocha, Tamara Itzel, and Marty Preciado—provide additional perspectives on the artist’s practice and the cultural contexts that inform it.
 
 
Designed as a distinctive artist’s book, the publication features a textured bright silver hard cover with an aluminium acid-etched plate, enamel paint, photocopy xerox elements, dry embossing, and screen printing on fabric. Offset printed in full color on 150 gsm coated paper and bound with assembled aluminum screws, the book measures 20.5 × 24.5 cm and was produced in an edition of 1,000 copies in Mexico.
